Graduate Research Assistant

I received my Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2020 and began my graduate studies in the Department of Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes, and Policy (PSOP) the same year. As a second-year pharmacy student, I joined Drs. Simon Pickard and Todd Lee’s research project aimed at providing opioid-specific educational outreach, or academic detailing, visits to primary care providers. Since then, I have been interested in assessing the impact and benefit of academic detailing on various outcomes such as healthcare provider behavior, satisfaction with academic detailing, and intention to change practice.

Overall, my research interests are very patient and healthcare-centered, so I am happy to be a part of the SCRPTS lab!
