Pharmacy Research Assistant

 

As a senior at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular, Cellular, and Organismal Biology. Upon graduation, I intend to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy to become a clinical pharmacist specializing in pediatrics. I have a passion for exploring methods that enhance the quality of care and outcomes for pediatric patients. My research interests revolve around optimizing communication methods employed by pharmacists in pediatric units and exploring systems-based approaches to ensure patient safety.

I am delighted to be a part of the SCRPTS lab, which has provided me with the opportunity to further explore my research interests and gain a deeper understanding of the field of pharmacy. I am eager to continue collaborating with a lab whose goals and enthusiasm align with my own.
